My idea is that Dualscar starts fucking with something supernatural to try to get her attentions fixed on him and only him. And it backfires. Badly. Cause this is Dualscar.

My first though is something like a genie granting three wish there may be other mythological creatures more fun to work with.

best part is...we can probably incorporate something with BOTH of them getting turned into creatures, mermaid and spider bitch somewhere in it.

Hmmmmm....I think this is workable.

I'd love to do a fic. where Mindfang is the mermaid and basically screws everything up for Dualscar. But it doesn't help that I really don't know how to play him. xux

(I would go into more detail but omg that'd take forever to explain what I was planning, maybe I'll type up the rest of my idea if you guys want me to.)

or what if we made a spoof comic or fic of that little mermaid scene where ariel helps prince eric to shore but instead mindfang lets him drown and dualscar finds his own way back to land. for the lols.
(could switch the roles around and dualscar would be the merman)

Or maybe mindfang becomes spider girl and her arch enemy would be dualscar.

I'd like to think that if the legendary object would be the Fluorite Octect, Mindfang would have most likely just started her pirating career. AKA meaning we have a young Mindfang who probably would be more reckless and a bit more unwise in her decisions than her older counterpart.

Or, we could have Mindfang be firstmate on the ship she's on (still considered kind-of early in her pirating career compared to the entire span of it) and have the legendary weapon be the sword that Vriska carries in 'Ancestral Awakening' (on page 005725 on MSPA). I'd imagine that the sword would have some properties to it like the Fluorite but in comparison to the actual Octect it's no where near as powerful.

EDIT: For the legendary weapon I'm now starting to think that she'd have the sword first and THEN the Fluorite, but I guess it could go either way.

But anyway, I would probably have Dualscar follow Mindfang into the Cave/Catacomb/Crypt where said legendary object is and have Mindfang catch him following her right in the beginning of the entrance. Which then Dualscar would say his cover story, and Mindfang would just laugh at him and make him watch her back. Dualscar would then follow Mindfang into the place (I'm currently imagining the places you go into in Skyrim with the Draugr waking up as you walk past and attacking you. For those who don't have the slightest idea what I'm talking about, they're pretty much undead warriors with weapons.) Finally after disarming traps, solving puzzles, and beating the undead, they would reach the final chamber where said legendary object would be, and of course what would the ending be to the little adventure in the place without a FINAL END BOSS WIELDING LEGENDARY WEAPON. Then, after defeating the boss Mindfang loots the place and takes the weapon, which they'd then leave through an exit. THEN FINALLY, after they get back to the outside they get into an argument over God knows what and then have said fight (which Mindfang promptly kicks Dualscar's ass using her new badass weapon) and Mindfang/Dualscar admits their true pitch feelings to the other (which I'd imagine it'd be Dualscar since he's craaaaazy for her). AND THUS BEGINS THEIR LOVELY BLACK RELATION SHIP.

WOW. I wrote much more than what I was intending to. 8U Sorry if this doesn't make any sense, it has been a crazy day for me and I have the biggest headache ever. oDx

Sorry I haven't been on in forever, I've been having some CRAZY trouble with my internet. It left for a couple days and now that's it's back my computer can BARELY get a connection. A wi-fi extension thingy is supposed to come next week, so hopefully I'll be more dependable then! D:

Obviously, more popular pairings are going to get more comments, and most likely, more votes. That's pretty natural.

But I've noticed that art entries, as well as entries that are not just text, are getting more comments as well. With so many entries to go through, having visual media seems to help.

So yeah, while of course I'm all for fic (I mean...fic is all I can do aaaahhh ;_____;) I'd love to, if possible, take up

retardokoolaid's offer to illustrate, or anyone else who wants to contribute, as well as anything else that anyone can think of to add.

Oh man, I didn't realize that the due date for this prompt was so close to the date I take my board exam (July 3). If you guys can decide on a fic script (even if it's not thoroughly polished) and get me one or two prompts for pictures, I can also help supply illustration for a fic entry. I probably won't have enough time to make a piece of artwork polished enough to warrant being an entry on its own merit, though. :/

Ginny and I are definitely going to do my idea, which the link to it is a bit farther up in this thread, if you haven't read it already. Hopefully we can have at least part of the writing done by tomorrow so I can post it for you guys to see.

asdfghjkl; I know this is really really late but I just got an idea for Mer-Dualscar and I think it's pretty gr8. It's not scary or anything but what if Mindfang goes looking for treasure that's been lost at sea and has to capture Mer-Dualscar to find it? So I'm thinking: She will capture him, and even though he doesn't know anything about the treasure Mindfang plans to butcher him and sell his parts on the black market, but Dualscar convinces her to hate him, tricks her in to setting him free (These two events could be switched? Mindfang could hate him for escaping), and escapes. Thus, their AU kismesitude is born.

SO I REALIZE i was sort of out of the planning loop on this one. as i said in my super late intro, i just sort of worked on a thing on my own, and you guys are free to peruse it at your leisure (before tonight, anyway)

criifi and I were not able to collab before she left on vacation. I really didn't feel comfortable doing the idea on my own since it was hers...and I feel strongly about there being art in this entry since the last was all fic...hmmm...
