round 3 entry + collab round updates?

here's my portion of the entry! I can edit things, too, if need be! I just kinda threw the red on there because I felt it needed it, but I can gladly remove it.



Secondly, what's the status on the collab round?

when will we submit our entries?
and um.. I don't think anyone has planned anything for the collab round yet. There were a few posts about it but that was it.

Okay, I just looked at the collab round deadline, it is august 4th D:!! That would probably make my idea impossible.

My recent idea was to have artists contribute a variety of simple and cute chibis that I could arrange in a random pattern. I could then order fabric with that pattern printed on it from spoonflower.com, and create something of the teams choosing - Most likely a purse, bag, pillow, or t-shirt. It would definitely be breaking the norm, lol.

But spoonflower fabric takes at least a week to ship. With artists contributions, discussion time, and sewing time, I don't think it is practical. If it was mid August, maybe, but not the 4th.

I had been dying to do a music video, but not sure what can be done with that in the time we have, and it would require a lot of effort on everyone's parts. Any other ideas?

At this point I'm just happy we had something to submit for all three main rounds....

hm, I rather like that idea! But yeah, since the deadline is kind of, well, near, maybe we can still do that but change it around a little? I'm not sure if you have any experience with iron-on transfers, but printing those out on paper and then ironing them onto a shirt or something could work! Cuts the waiting time out.

And for the music video, that might take a while, but if we do something small, 30-40 seconds maybe, we could try to make it work? Gifs might be able to work, too.

Perhaps creating a small fic with people creating different parts, then artists illustrating a scene from it or the other way around? Something small, perhaps drabbles based off a prompt. For the arists, someone could sketch, another could line, colour, shade, etc etc. I don't really know how that same concept would transfer to writing, though!
